Duck Race

Buck a Duck Race which was renamed in memory of Christine Katz, Brother David Katz's wife. All 448 duck tickets and raised a total of $455.00 from this event, which goes towards this year's W.G.M. & W.G.P. Project which is our CARE Program. The event was held at the Abel Mountain Campground where a number of the O.E.S. Members camp out throughout the week. The race was held on Sat. 8/24.

Sharon Scholarships Announced

Recently two new Sharon students were honored as this year's scholarship winners by the Masons of Sharon Masonic Lodge No. 105. For many years the Lodge in Sharon has presented two $500.00 scholarships to Sharon students on their way to college or technical school. This years winners are Elizabeth (Beth) Potter who will attend the University of Vermont to continue her passion for hockey and study to someday own her own physical therapy business and Matthew (Matt) DeMara who will attend Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island majoring in culinary arts with the idea to own his own culinary business someday. Both of these students are fine examples of young people destine to succeed in their intended field.

The "Lunch Bunch" taken at P J's Restaurant in Essex Jct., VT.  This group, all Freemasons, meet the last Tuesday of every month at 11:30 a.m.  All Freemasons are welcomed to attend. This group was started by Brother Jack Campbell, Jr., Past Grand Master, three or four years ago.  There are 20 who met today, but only 17 in this picture as 3 had to leave early.
